Dark blue GRP Hull, Deck & Superstructure layed up by hand using hydrolysis proof polyester resin, roving fabrics, end grain balsa core material and multidirectional fabrics. Deck uses end grain balsa to give panel strength with aluminium reinforcements laminated in for all fastenings and fixtures.
A profiled keel of a combination of Iron and Lead with extremely low centre of gravity is fastened to the hull by stainless steel bolts into laminated floor beams, spreading and distributing the load of the keel and rig forces evenly through the construction.
