| Description | The new 2009 420 Sports Coupe from Cruisers Yachts is all about luxury at a value with numerous standard features that are typically only available as options on other models. Similar in appearance to its smaller sister model the 390 Sports Coupe, the company's new 420 SC model actually boasts an entirely new interior layout below deck and upgraded amenities throughout. Above Deck Proving once again to be a leader in innovation and design, Cruisers Yachts made the 420 Sports Coupe model the only express style yacht in its class with a standard walk-thru windshield and sunroof; providing good flow, headroom, comfort and safety to and from the foredeck. Boarding the new luxury vessel has been made easy with side boarding options on both the starboard and port sides, or via the full beam swim platform. Transom rumble seating is also a unique option available on the craft in conjunction with teak decking. Adding to the impressive menu of standard amenities includes an astonishing 13.5 kilowatt generator and 28,000 BTU cockpit AC/Heat unit; perfect for long range cruising in all climates. In the impressively large cockpit area standard extras include u-shaped seating with storage below and an electric actuated engine hatch for ease of accessing the engine compartment. Stepping up to the helm a large doublewide seat with twin flip-up bolsters and storage below allows the captain to enjoy a full 360 degrees of visibility. In addition, the dash panel has been ergonomically designed for excellent positioning of engine monitoring data and navigational equipment. Also topside is a wet bar with lots of solid surface space, a built-in sink, standard refrigerator, and optional cockpit grill and 20'' flatscreen TV; the perfect combination for those who like to entertain. Below Deck The luxury continues below deck with an entirely new interior layout that includes over seven feet of head room at the bottom of the cabin steps. Upon entering the galley, guests will marvel at the wealth of natural light pouring in from six vertical portholes, the roomy and comfortable crescent-shaped dinette and a 26" flatscreen TV. The galley also boats full kitchen amenities with plenty of storage below and above the solid-surface counter tops. Aft of the galley, the main head offers full standing headroom with a large separate stand-up shower stall, adding additional comfort and ease of movement. Moving forward to the master stateroom owners will appreciate the Ocean-Air hatch with built-in screen and sky shade plus an optional bulkhead door for added privacy. Other bonuses Cruisers Yachts has added to the 420 Sports Coupe master stateroom are two large hanging lockers on both the port and starboard sides, in addition to storage underneath the large queen size island birth. The same is true for the secondary stateroom which is equipped with a large hanging locker on the portside of the yacht. Also unique to the mid-stateroom is the head area which allows simultaneous use of the head and vanity areas and includes a porthole behind the mid-vanity sink, allowing for extra ventilation and light.
