CQr anchor Danforth anchor Chain and warp Clock and barometer. Mara is one of two Contest 43s that were built with a teak pilothouse arrangement. The pilothouse allows a 360 degrees view from the navigation station and makes rough passage making and watches more comfortable. Instrumentation is duplicated in this pilothouse and at an external helming position. Internal steering can be done using the autopilot or a joystick. The addition of the pilothouse has made room below for a pilot berth on the portside. Full engine service each year, overhaul/replacement of battery management systems in 2008. |
