SATORI is coded to MCA Category 2 which is in dateHull, Deck & Superstructure Construction: The hull and deck are built of a Divinycell foam cored vinylester resin GRP sandwich construction, which was hand laid in a female mould. The exterior finish is painted in dark grey (March 2009) with a white boot topping and grey antifouling. The interior of the hull has a fiberglass bottom grid laminated to it, providing stiffening and additional strength. The interior hull surface has been coated with a grey topcoat. The underwater hull surfaces have had two coats of epoxy primer for added osmosis protection from new. Decks are laid with teak in recesses to provide a flush deck with a low teak capping rail. The side decks are fitted with a flush deck scupper which exits the hull just below the boot topping to allow rainwater to drain. The interior was designed by Design Unlimited. In this ownership the layout has been altered to their designs and the necessary work executed, in Le Ciotat, under their supervision to ensure a very family friendly and welcoming layout.Keel & Rudder: There is a fiberglass keel mounting which forms a very large and deep bilge. The stiffening grid has been drilled with drain holes to allow all water to drain to the bilge. The lead and 4% antimony winged keel is bolted onto the keel stub. The spade rudder is hung on a 125mm diameter alloy rudder stock that is held in position by two Jeffa self aligning needle bearings.Machinery: Engine & Gearboxes: 1 x Yanmar 4LHA-HTP 160hp Reverse oil change pump mounted in main engine room.
