| Description | Bordeaux 60, Hull no. 1, built in France by CNB in 2007 to a Philippe Briand design with Hugon Couechel interior. Built using balsa wood composite, resin-infused with quadaxial glass and carbon reinforcement, the Bordeaux 60 has an aluminium grid bonded to the hull onto which the long, lead keel and shrouds are connected giving a strong frame. Teak laid decks and cockpit, twin carbon wheel steering and hydraulically operated 'garage' at stern. Fuel: 1000 lt in 2 x 500 lt tanks; water: 1000 lt in 2 x 500 lt tanks. |
