| Rigging |
The vessel is rigged as a Bermudan cutter. The standing rigging, which was new in 2000, comprises inner and outer forestays, bifurcated backstay and topmast, intermediate and fore and aft lower shrouds. All are of 10mm, 1 by 19, stainless steel wire with swaged fittings, except for the intermediate shrouds and the lower parts of the backstay that are 8mm. In addition, there are running backstays, of 8mm wire with 12mm braid rope tackles, running from the lower spreaders. There is no sign of corrosion or stranding.

| Propeller |
The bronze, 21 in, Brunton Autoprop propeller is in excellent condition and secure on the shaft. All of its' blade bearings are free from play and the anode is new. There is a Stripper rope cutter fitted and it is in god condition. There is slight lift at the cutlass bearing, but it is fit for further service.

| Engine |
The engine is a Volvo MD22, four cylinder, naturally aspirated diesel giving approximately 59hp. It is flexibly mounted on substantial steel engine beds and it drives through an R and D flexible coupling to a Volvo MS2 hydraulic gearbox. The shaft is free to turn by hand, indicating good shaft alignment. There are no oil or fuel leaks and the bilge beneath is clean.

| Fresh Water Tanks |
The fresh water is store in two 50gal stainless steel tanks securely installed below the galley sole. The tanks are in good condition and the plumbing is well installed. The pressure-operated, Shureflow Aqua King Junior water pump is working correctly. There is a large calorifier installed in the engine space and it is heated either by a take-off from the main engine cooling water, by the generator cooling water or by the immersion heater that can be powered by the shore power circuit.
