Located under companion way steps a Volvo MD6A 12HP Inboard Diesel engine. Seawater cooled, with single lever controls. Shaft drive to two blade variable pitch prop. 7 Gallon poly fuel tank. Oils and filters changed during winter lay up.

This Albin Vega designed by P.Brohall has a white hull, beige non skid deck and superstructure moulded in GRP with a self draining cockpit. Long lead/iron keel with keel hung rudder and tiller steering. Hull was stripped and epoxied in 1994 as a preventative measure to osmosis.
