Construction:
Riveted Steel hull and hull epoxy coated for long life. Built in 1905 this barge has been beautifully converted, keeping its quaint features with modern glimpses everywhere. It also has royal history attached to it and included a visitation by the Queen of Netherlands sister. Photos attached. Last Survey was done in 2005.
Accommodation:
The barge is beautifully equipped and can sleep up to 5 people in three cabins. Two of the cabins are situated below deck whilst the top cabin is used by day as a dining area/wheel house. By night this can easily be converted to a third cabin. Below deck there is a beautifully appointed living area which oozes character and includes a well equipped galley with essential appliances.
Engine & Fuel System etc:
Direct raw water cooling through filters .
Engine has been fully reconditioned 5 years ago. Very economical and in an excellent condition.
Electrical:
Solar Powered, 24v/240v, New Wiring installed. 4 x 12v Domestic Heavy duty batteries. Battery charger, Inverter.
