| Description | Since 1870 The Cheoy Lee Shipyard in Hong Kong is building her ships. From big Commercial vessels to smaller, beautifully lined Yachts. In her 140 Years of existence the shipyard has build over 5000 ships.
This particular Cheoy Lee Clipper 42 Ketch is designed by Bill Luders. From this model there were only build 50 pieces. If you like a Yacht with beautiful lines and curves, this is the one. With her well pronounced Transom, her beautiful shaped sheerline, and bowsprit she is a feast for the eye.
The owner has maintained this Yacht with love and passion, and improve its condition to her current state. In 2009 the Teak deck is totally replaced, including the teak parts of the Cabin roof. In 2005 all the sails were cut and crafted specifically for this ship by Jan Miedema from 'Gaastra Sails'. In 2010 a new sprayhood was placed, and so on.
The stern is spacious, where you can spend many quiet hours without suffering from the space that your passengers take. The stern is relatively high, you always have a beautiful view in all directions.
When you step into the ship, your attention goes directly to the two berths on port and starboard. Further forward is the galley to starboard and opposite the cozy parlor. Between living and port berth is the toilet. The engine is in the deep keel which gives a low center of gravity. At the front of the bow is a fairly spacious cabin with wardrobe.
This beautiful yacht has traveled long distances and is waiting for an owner who may also have this ambition. Shorter trips are of course to do, then think of the Wadden Sea or the Baltic.
