Furthermore, in 2004, the perspex windows of the steering house and the electric anchor winch are replaced. In 2001, the diesel engine has been totally overhauled. Typical to the Amel Maramu is the fixed steering house with a large and well protected central placed cockpit. From here the helmsman has a perfect overview behind the steering wheel.
